#fbf On my first trip to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in 2005. I fell in love with this city and the country. I spent my money out of pocket to fly from nyc to rio.. Rent a car (against everyone's advice) emailed model agencies to find 5 modes and hire to shoot with over a short 6 day visit. Also hired a local to do hair and make and he also doubled as my security guard while shooting at the beach and around rio. I'm sure I was being watched and a easy target with all my canon lenses and gear I brought with me but I never had any hassle or felt threatened. I wish I remembered this models name so I could see what she is up to now! #riodejaneiro #fashion #rioolympics #memories #startofmycareer

The last shot of the day is always my favorite. After I wrap each shoot I always have another idea in my back pocket. This was one of them and @abirenner was ready and willing to jump into this freezing mountain creek outside of Seattle. I love the natural light coming through the trees to light her and the contrast of the dark water against her skin. There is always one more shot. Last month deep in the jungles of Mexico I took a small but strong team into this jungle garden called Las Pozas. We shot with Mexican rockstar model @aleguilmant she was amazing, such a pro.
