3...2...1...See ya! I'm off to Alaska for only the second time in my life. The first time was about 12 years ago, I was an assistant for @troyplota on a @izod campaign and I ended up being a snowboard stuntman/model for one of the print ads they ran.. The job was amazing to say the least and the Alaskan mountains and glaciers as our backdrop did not fail to impress. I ended up changing my ticket and staying 4 extra looooong days to hike, camp and explore the terrain, the sun didn't go down fully and it was great light even at 11pm!! I forgot to eat dinner the first couple nights just because it didn't make sense to eat when the sun was still up so high. Excited to revisit this amazing state after way too long. Humbled, thankful and blessed to travel and do what I love... It's not "work" but I get paid for it. 😘 #northwesting #alaska #sickyo #15minsoffame #fallfashion

#fbf On my first trip to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in 2005. I fell in love with this city and the country. I spent my money out of pocket to fly from nyc to rio.. Rent a car (against everyone's advice) emailed model agencies to find 5 modes and hire to shoot with over a short 6 day visit. Also hired a local to do hair and make and he also doubled as my security guard while shooting at the beach and around rio. I'm sure I was being watched and a easy target with all my canon lenses and gear I brought with me but I never had any hassle or felt threatened.
